Bootleg Sessions V.3
Filming for Bootleg Sessions Volume 3 is currently underway. Both Tom Briggs and Tom Mosher here at Skitch Clothing are filming parts. There are two short question and answer profiles up on the Bootleg Sessions site. Mosher's profile has been up for quite a while but Briggs' profile just went up today. Head over there and check it out along with all the other new riders that will be appearing in the third installment of the video series.

NEW SHIRTS!
Tobias Romaniuk Photos
I recently stumbled upon some old Tobias Romaniuk photos that I don't think ever made it up on the blog and I just thought I would share. Tobias is easily one our favorite photographers and these are just a couple images I really like.
Ten Ten killing it!
Jeremy riding the fullpipe at Bonser (I believe this was shot by Tobias, if its not I appologize to both him and the photographer)

Shop Till You Drop Alleycat
This past Saturday I had the pleasure of helping out with an alleycat here in Toronto. This is the first one that I've been directly involved with here in Toronto and it was a blast. I ended up working a check point with my buddy BJ Rossiter up at Yorkdale Mall in northern Toronto. We had people running through the mall with there bikes and stealing popcorn from kids at the movie theater. We also had blizzard like conditions so the race was seriously sketchy. A huge thanks goes out to Toby Spunt for throwing such an awesome event and for everyone who came out and raced or worked check points. Here are a few photos taken by Christopher Kaiser (who I do not know but stumbled on them through Facebook, hopefully he won't mind us posting them).

News
We'll it's December already and the weather has taken a serious turn for the worst (I think it's -6 degrees outside right now). I've riden in snow more than a few times already this year and I'm trying to adjust to this Toronto winter.
We've got a few things happening here at Skitch. First up we've got a new T-shirt design dropping just in time for Christmas. I will have pictures up as soon as possible and they'll be for sale through paypal within the next few weeks. We're really excited about this one and we hope you all are as well.
In team news we've got a some stuff happening. Tom Mosher was recently hooked up by Volume Bikes and can now be found pushing the limits on his Volume Cutter. Way to go Tom. Bootleg Sessions 3 is also in the works and it looks like both Mosher and myself (Tom Briggs) will be appearing in the next installment of everyones favorite fixed gear freestyle video series. We're super pumped to be involved in the project and have started logging as much footage as we can.
Also the new issue of Cog Magazine should be out in the near future with our new ad featuring our newest team rider. Look out for that at your local bike shop. They also have a new photo book dropping soon and that we're all super pumped about. Be sure to pick up a copy of the book through their website. Our good friend and collaborator Tobias Romaniuk will have a few photos in there. Way to go Tobias!
Just to make sure this post isn't entirely text I've included a new video of Tom Mosher shredding the hell out of a parking garage on a cold evening here in Toronto.

session in burnaby
hey it's me again. i guess you could say i've been on a bit of a hiatus. a bit of the winter gloom me thinks.
but getting past that me and my buddy jay did some riding in our hood here in burnaby a hop and a leap away from vancouver.
i just wanted to show a few of my secret spots and a few new gems i've found right in my back yard.
we found this gap in the middle of the road like right down the centre as a divider but clearly it was still under construction. so there was a ramp and a bit of a trench to clear not to mention traffic on either side made for some sketchy riding.
i lost the one where i threw away that board that was lying there.. so you just see this one with the board which makes me look like a pussy but whatever somewhere there is video proof i launched this thing. i think the proof is in the picture.
my secret wall ride spot i haven't gone vert on this thing yet but i will soon. it's too bad theres no one out here to ride these with.
i took a gnarly bail after that photo i'm still not quite sure it was worth it .
it's always fun discovering fun spots then smashing the hell out of them
i checked out for a bit but i'm back now and i'm here to earn my keep at skitchblog so expect to hear more from me
keep them wheels spinning

Mosher Never Sleeps
Tom Mosher at it again with another web video. I think this is the 3rd or 4th this month alone. The multilevel pedal grind is epic. Keep it up Tom!

Good Times In Toronto
Here's a quick little web video that Tom Mosher put together of some recent sessions. I think this video is more just us all dorking around than anything too serious but I like how it turned out! Good job Tom.

(For the record, I did not ride out of that fakie double barspin but I have landed them and ridden away at other times, just not that particular day of filming.)

Halloween Race Trailer
I'm am stoked on this trailer for the up coming Super Champion Halloween race going down in Vancouver. The trailer was put together by Wayne Morhart and it looks epic. Wayne is also the brain behind The Rat Cult project that is still being filmed. Take a peak at the trailer and then book your ticket to Vancouver because you aren't going to want to miss this! I also hear it's free for all out-of-towners and most of the money raised is going to charity!
Check out the old footage of Ten Ten doing pogo's at 0:51, I think he's riding his old Vivalo!

Ryan Narita
As some of you may have noticed the last post was not by Tom, and for that reason we would like to introduce you to our newest member of the Skitch family, Ryan Narita. Ryan is a very talented rider who burst out of nowhere about six months ago in Vancouver and surprised all of us. He's super creative on a bike and is always innovating and inspiring us. With Tom moving over to the East Coast we needed someone to keep the news flowing from Vancouver. So as of now we will be bringing you updates from both sides of Canada. We'd really like to thank Ryan for coming on board and look forward to his updates here on the blog.

TO Track Tricks
I've been in Toronto for about a month and a half now and have made some good friends here so far. Every Tuesday we get together and have a trick night at Trinity-Bellwoods park. I finally got some pics of what went down thanks to Ted Power, a local Toronto photographer and fixed gear rider. You should check out his blog at www.tedpowerisyourboss.blogspot.com.

Tyler Lepore of Super Champion
There is a fantastic video interview with Tyler Lepore, owner of Super Champion up now at http://cavedweller.com/all-scenes/snow. The video documents how Tyler got into cycling, how the shop came about and it's influence in the Vancouver cycling community. Go check it out, it's super interesting and the cinematography is great.
