Track Attack December

Track Attack in Denver is going off again this Friday. The monthly gathering of Denver’s finest track bike tricksters will again be sponsored by Skitch. We would like to apologize for the lack of prizes last month but due to last minute production and the post office being really slow; the shirts did not show up in Denver till two days after the event. Have no fear this month because shirts are in Denver and up for grabs, so if you're in the neighborhood, go have some fun with the boys down in Colorado. We wish we could be there, maybe sometime in the near future.

The Bridge Battle Blizzard

Well, the Bridge Battle went off on Saturday, in the worst weather imaginable, and we had an awesome time. Despite all of Tom's crashing and the blizzard that poured down on Vancouver, this was an amazing race that won't be forgotten soon. Here are a couple pictures by Tobias Romaniuk, an amazing Vancouver photographer (www.tobiasromaniuk.com). Congratulations go out to Nick B, James and Mike for coming first, second and third respectively. Also a huge thanks goes out to Duncan and Nik and all the check pointers for putting on the race, it was awesome.

New Bag

Here at Skitch we've been putting our new Reload bag through its paces and it's working out wonderfully. Here's Tom leaving with a fresh batch of fifty new tees hot off the press. The bag had no problems accommodating such a large box along with Tom's jacket and a spare pair of shoes. Thanks again to Reload.

Bridge Battle

We would like to thank Reload Bags, out of Seattle for constructing our new messenger bag. Reload makes some of the highest quality messenger bags available on the market and with them being only a short three hour drive from Vancouver it was a no brainer in having them make it. With my recent trip to New York City and my love of the New York Mets, I had the bag constructed in the Mets team colours. Super Champion

Ok, if you haven't been to this shop before, you must go. Super Champion is Vancouver's only all fixed gear store, and possibly Canada's only 100% fixed gear shop. From the amazing collection of vintage track bikes to the high end components, you really can't beat this place. The shop has been featured on Trackosaurus Rex, Hong Kong Fixed Gear and in Color Magazine. The shop is run by Tyler Lepore, who we would like to thank for picking up Skitch in his shop as well as supporting the local scene here in Vancouver.

Behind the Scenes

Here is a behind the scenes look at the photo shoot a few days ago. These were taken in an unbelievable photo studio, thanks to photographer Courtney Mathieson. Tom and Evans hung out to art direct, and basically cause a lot of trouble for our photographer. Enjoy.
