On November 8th we premiered our film, The Revival in Vancouver, BC. This is what went down as I (Tom Briggs) flew from Toronto back home for the worlds first screening of the film. We can't thank everyone enough, the screening was amazing and everyone who came out and had a good time, thank you. Also a huge thank you to Noah, Jake, Tyler and everyone else from Seattle that came up for the screening, it was great having you guys north of the boarder. Thank you all.

The Revival Toronto Premiere

The Revival Toronto screening took place this past Saturday at Bikes On Wheels. The turn out far exceeded my expectations, with more than 150 people filling the small bike shop. Everyone seemed to have an awesome time and it was great to finally show the film here where I've been working on it with Wayne for so long. I'm so happy everyone was able to make it out for the evening, I hope you all had a great time!

The Revival Seattle Premiere

Seattle's premiere went great by all accounts. I wish I could have attended but it looks like everyone had a great time. Seattle played such a huge role in the final film that I can't thank that city enough. You guys are all amazing riders and just such wonderful people so a huge thank you to The Emerald City.

The Revival World Premiere by Jake Ricker

Hooper!!!

Our good buddy and Revival rider Jamie Hooper had a little accident after the premiere in Vancouver last Sunday. From what has come to light he had a mishap with a parked semi on the side of Great Northern Way in Vancouver. Jamie cracked his eye socket, cheek bone and ripped the skin off the back of his hand like the terminator. Jamie just wants to let everyone know that they should always wear a helmet and says next time he'll heed his own advice. This photo recently surfaced on Fixed Vancouver of Hooper only a day or so after being released from the hospital. The photo was shot by Dylan. I appologize for not knowing your last name. Toronto Stand Up! Tonight Is Your Night!

Toronto screening of The Revival will take place this evening at 9:30pm at Bikes On Wheels (309 Augusta Ave. in Kensington Market). There will be a race before hand beginning at 7pm at the same location. Come out and have a good time with us, see you tonight.

GOrilla produces such amazing frames and this is a beautiful look into the creation of the Kilroy frame. Our boy Wonka had his hand in this one and the frames came out amazing. I can't wait to get one of my own.

After slamming and breaking our prototypes in public and in front of cameras, we finally started production of the Kilroy frame. The tests that Wonka ran lead to the conclusion that we had to manufacture a tube set just for this frame, with particular reinforced parts to absorb and handle the stress of the jumps. Together with Columbus we decided to change the alloy in order to avoid very thick and heavy tubes and gain in strength nevertheless. We are proud to present the first freestyle frame in Niobium steel. The Columbus Niobium steel is a special micro alloyed steel with Manganese, Chrome, Nickel, Molybdenum and Niobium that is designed to provide superior mechanical properties

We went to Italy for the launch of the production and invited Wonka to join us and get involved into the process of creation. Thanks to Renaud Skyronka for filming this monumental happening.

The Revival World Premiere

The Revival world premiere took place on Sunday night and it couldn't have gone any better. We had a huge turnout in Vancouver and some great friends came up from Seattle to join in the festivities. We had gold sprints prior to the screening and then Congress tore the house down to close out the night. I would just like to thank everyone for attending the screening, we couldn't have been happier with how things went. Thank you all.

The Revival Is Coming!!!

It's only 4 days until the world premiere of The Revival. We've been setting up screenings all over the planet so we thought we should share the dates we have so far. So you've probably seen it posted across a million blogs by now but here it is the final trailer for The Revival. We are premiering it on November 8th in Vancouver, BC. Other than that we hope that you just enjoy the film.

The Hell Track Footdown Drome!!!

Here's a video of the first round of the Hell Track Footdown Drome! If you watch all the way through you'll see myself (Tom Briggs, in the plaid shirt with the hood up) vs. Swoo (plaid shirt without the hood) battling it out for the win. Swoo ended up walking away with this round but it was Andrew Flowers in the end who took the footdown drome crown for the evening and a new set of Hold Fast straps.

Hell Track Re-Cap

Saturday night was one of the greatest bike events I've ever been to. Hell Track went off as a huge success with tons of people coming out, great races, sweet bails, the most epic game of footdown you've ever seen and some male nudity courtesy of our friend and member of the Revival crew, Toby Spunt. Hell Track was the brain child of Tom Mosher and for as long as I can remember he's been talking about doing this and trying to bring the Toronto fixed gear scene closer together and I can honestly say he succeeded way beyond any expectations I had. I don't have to results in front of me but Nick took home first place in the school sprints, landing himself with a new set of Velocity wheels, way to go dude! Our great buddy Swoo took home first in the best trick comp and grabbed himself a brand new Volume Fu Manchu Fork (Swoo Manchu is definitely his new nickname). Andrew Flowers was the man left standing, or riding that is in the footdown drome (100 men enter, one man leaves!(You had to be there)).All and all it was probably the best bike event in Toronto history from most peoples account and certainly rivaled any other city I've been to, including Vancouver, New York and Seattle.It's great to see a scene this large coming together and really just having a blast. Again a great job by Tom Mosher for throwing this event, it really was worth the wait.Video by Jose O
